Job Description:
Cypress' Global Apps Engineering team is looking for a qualified entry level candidate for our Shanghai China office.
1.        This position will support the Sales team and customers by assisting in the design, implementation and testing of systems using our products.
2.        This is an opportunity to work on the latest automotive systems in a fast paced environment.
3.        The candidate must have a desire to be a key contributor and should enjoy helping enable customers with technology.

Required Skills
0.     Items below are not all required, but you are required to be good at 2 items below at least.
1.        A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. A desire to work in embedded systems.
2.        C/C++/assembly language experience, IDE/debugging experience
3.        ARM core experience
4.        Must be able to assist customers with code examples, code implementations, code reviews, test code development, debugging, schematic reviews, consultation, problem duplication, etc.
5.        Must be able to communicate with customers efficiently
6.        Must be able to speak/write English proficiently
7.        Must be proactive
8.        Must communicate with the factory for deep technical support, failure analysis, bug tracking, case management, etc.
9.        You must be able to follow our processes and document your work.
10.        Previous employment in an embedded systems role would be highly desirable
11.        Experience with I2C, SPI, RS232 or other MCU related interfaces desirable
12.        Embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) experience desired
13.        Comfortable with use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, bus analyzers and related electronic equipment for use in test and debug
14.        Ability to problem solve and systematically work to root cause
15.        Enthusiastic and high-energy with a strong desire to win
16.        Self-motivated as an individual contributor
17.        Strong sense of customer service
18.        Effective communication skills
19.        Ability to plan, schedule and prioritize level of support based on customer needs and management direction
20.        Can organize and track a large number of tasks on multiple unrelated projects
21.        Smart, honest, innovative and confident
22.        PCB development, FPGA/CPLD development, Verilog coding would be a plus
23.        Analog circuit design, interfacing with sensors would be a plus
